The Muhlenberg County Opportunity Center in Greenville, KY is a Behavioral Health Multi Specialty Group (BHMSG) through Kentucky Medicaid. We serve adults with intellectual disabilities who have been diagnosed with one or more mental health disorders. In the EXPLORE program, clients from Muhlenberg and Hopkins counties are paired with a Community Support Associate (CSA). The assigned mentor is trained to utilize a variety of psychiatric and behavioral tools to support their client in developing emotional regulation skills, crisis coping skills, enhancing interpersonal skills, and improving daily living skills to increase independence.

MCOC partners with Plastic Products Co. Inc., a local plastics manufacturer to provide vocational training in a sheltered workshop environment. Clients develop their fine motor and time management skills while achieving attainable goals and earning a paycheck.
